Sachal Sarmast is Poet of seven languages and his poetry is available in all languages.

Sachal Sarmast (1739 – 1829) (Sindhi: سچلُ سرمستُ, Urdu: سچل سرمست‎) a Sufi poet from City Daraza, Taluka (Main city) Ranipur in District Khairpur Mirs, Sindh (now in Pakistan). He wrote poetry in seven languages most prominent is Farsi (Persian) Sindhi Seraiki. His Persian Poetry is very deep poetry as compare persian poets of his age and era. His all poetry is about Spiritualism, He taught many mystical ways to his followers and devotees to find out easily GOD just sink in your inner and see the real path goes to destiny.

Background

  During the Kalhoro/Talpur era of Sindh. He was born in Daraza, near Ranipur, Sindh. His real name Abdul Wahab Farouqi and His famous nicks"Sachal" (True Person)  or "Sachoo" (Truth Speaker) "Sachey Dino" (Given by Absolute Truth) and in Persian his nickname he used frequently in Persian poetry "Ashkara" (Opened - Clear - Visible). He used this pen-name in his poetry. Sachu which means 'truthful' - while in Sindhi Sarmast means 'ecstatic' in Sindhi and Urdu alike. Sachal Sarmast literally means 'truthful mystic' or can be translated as "Ecstatic Saint of Truth". Sachal's father had died, when he was a child, he was later raised by his uncle and His Master (Hadi, Murshid) Abdul Haqq. Sachal Sarmast married with daughter of His Uncle and Master, but the young woman died two years later. He never remarried. It is said that he never left Daraza, the village of his birth.  For his city Daraza is litterally means "Door of Mystery" as its combination of two persian words Dar e Raz  where as Dar means door and Raz means mystery. He Invited Truth seeker come to Daraza to explore more truth and unfold mystery of God which is in you.

Analhaqism - I am God

He loved music a lot and music was source of Ecstasy for him, once he was in deep meditation and suddenly he broke silence with the title of "Ana-AL-Haq" ( I am God, I am ALLAH) and from that day he was also famous with name of "Mansoor Sani" (Mansur A famous sufi saint of Bagdad Now in Iraq was executed in 10th Hijri for claiming and saying that "I am God, I am ALLAH"

Sachal Sarmast was Highly Impressed by Hazrat Hussain Bin Mansur Hulaj and He preached about Analhaqism and dedicated his mostly poetry work to this term "Ana Al Haq". His Praised Mansur and his mission all the time and he suggested his followers "to be Mansur and forget what you are"
